Dealing with investor complaints

Our aim is to respond appropriately and promptly should investors have any complaints. Consequently, a clearly structured process has been created.

Swisscanto Fund Management Company Ltd. has devised an effective and transparent internal procedure for appropriate and prompt handling of investors' suggestions and complaints, which has been implemented within our organisation.

We consider investor complaints to be any queries received by sales partners of Swisscanto Asset Management International S.A. or investors of funds managed by this company. These typically feature a substantive expression of dissatisfaction with Swisscanto Fund Management Company Ltd's services or products and a resulting (or potentially resulting) financial loss or other substantive dissatisfaction.

Investor suggestions and complaints need not take any particular form, so they may be submitted verbally, in writing, or in another format. All suggestions and complaints are immediately forwarded to a central department which is responsible for a timely and appropriate response to the query. All Swisscanto Fund Management Company Ltd. employees are obliged to assist with rapid handling of the matter as required. The aim is to provide an answer to less complex queries within three working days of receipt. For queries requiring greater clarification (if third parties are involved) the aim is to confirm receipt to the customer and set out what is likely to happen next within two working days.

Swisscanto Fund Management Company Ltd. general management is to be immediately notified of investor suggestions and complaints which entail a substantial risk or risk to our reputation. Any action which general management decides to take in this regard will be immediately implemented in accordance with the guidelines.
