MANUFAKT8048 combines industrial chic with flexibility and impresses with a spacious open-air atrium.

MANUFAKT8048 is located within walking distance of Zurich Altstetten train station and offers almost 15,000 m² of modern commercial floor space on six floors. The building structure allows for flexible floor plans and design options. The facilities can be used as offices, production premises, manufacturing facilities, laboratories or showrooms, as desired. The large open-air atrium is the centre of the property.

The new construction was built in accordance with high ecological building standards. With district heating as a sustainable energy source, it makes a valuable contribution to the ambitious reduction targets for greenhouse gas emissions in the real estate portfolio.

The open-plan atrium shortens the distances and serves as a light source for the surrounding rooms.

The tenants at MANUFAKT8048 mainly come from the high-tech and life sciences sector. The anchor tenant is the ETH spin-off Levitronix AG. The high-tech company is the world's leading provider of magnetically suspended, bearingless motor technologies.

In the video, the asset management team consisting of Rafik Awad, Daniel Strebel and Michael Pfyl presents the property from various perspectives. Thomas Gempp, Chief Operating Officer at Levitronix, explains why MANUFAKT8048 was chosen as the company’s new headquarters.
