We are building over 2,000 apartments

Zürcher Kantonalbank's Asset Management will develop more than 2,000 apartments throughout Switzerland in the coming years and open up more than 100,000 square metres of commercial and office space – details and images.

One project among many: 400 rental flats and 14,000 m² of commercial and office space being built in Muttenz (BL)

Zürcher Kantonalbank, with its Asset Management, is one of the most important private developers in Switzerland. In total, we are responsible for around 20 new construction and renovation projects amounting to around CHF 2 billion for various real estate investment products, distributed throughout the country. Over the coming years, more than 2,000 new apartments will be constructed and 100,000 square metres of commercial space will be developed.

The projects range from comprehensive renovations and optimisations by means of extensions and new replacement buildings to large greenfield development projects. We always focus on the energy-efficient construction of buildings and energy production from renewable sources.

Am Schänzli, Muttenz (BL) 

  1. 400 rental apartments (studios to 5.5 rooms), 14,000 m² of commercial and office space
  2. Approved investment costs: CHF 315 million, Completion (expected): 2027

  1. 600 rental apartments (30,000 m² of commercial and office space)
  2. Approved investment costs: CHF 465 million, Completion (expected): 2027-2035

  1. 59 apartments (2.5 to 5 rooms), 3,200 m2 of sales and office space
  2. Approved investment costs: CHF 85 million
