Maurizio Pedrini is responsible for all active bond products and leads the respective investment teams. Additionally, he oversees the development and innovation of the products. He has over 30 years of experience in fixed income as a portfolio manager and executive. His areas of expertise include global credit strategies, particularly Global Corporate Credit, Contingent Convertible Bonds (CoCos), Corporate Hybrids, mortgages, and CHF Fixed Income.
Maurizio Pedrini joined the Asset Management of Zürcher Kantonalbank in 2015 as Head of Credit Fixed Income. Under his leadership, an internationally competitive portfolio management team and product offering were established. Prior to this, he worked for Credit Suisse for 17 years, where he played a key role in shaping the development of the fixed income business for institutional clients in Switzerland. Most recently, he was responsible for the Core Fixed Income division within Asset Management at Credit Suisse.
Maurizio Pedrini is a Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst (CEFA/AZEK) and holds a Master’s degree in Economics with a specialisation in Finance, Monetary Policy, and Business Cycle Theory from the University of Zurich. He also lectures on fixed income topics at the University of Zurich, AZEK, and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. Furthermore, he is a member of the Swiss Bond Commission of the Swiss Financial Analysts Association (SFAA).
