Senior Portfolio Manager

Samuel Manser has been a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in Asset Management at Zürcher Kantonalbank since 2012. In his role as credit analyst, he focuses on sustainability issues and also covers the consumer goods and retail sectors. He is responsible for various global mandates and the following bond funds:

Prior to that, he worked for Credit Suisse as a portfolio manager for more than four years, where he was responsible for the management of various multi-asset mandates and funds.

Samuel Manser studied at the University of St. Gallen and the University of Chicago, and graduated with a master's degree in quantitative economics and finance in 2008. In 2012, he received his diploma as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and in 2023 the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. He is a lecturer for the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and a guest speaker for the University of Zurich in the field of fixed income.
